  • Evidence of independent research and depth in a relevant technical area.
  • Strong probability, statistics or mathematical-modeling foundations.
  • The ability to implement and evaluate ideas in Python or a comparable language.
  • Intellectual curiosity, careful reasoning and an openness to critical feedback.

Additional experience

Time-series methods, optimization, statistical learning, applied probability or large-scale computation are relevant. Prior professional finance experience is not required for this route.
